Our new CEO: Dr. Martin C. Wittig
At their meeting in Essen, the Partners of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants cast their votes in the scheduled elections for the global Executive Committee (EC) and Supervisory Board.
The Partners, from 26 countries, are aiming for further internationalization and have ushered in a new generation to the multi-member EC set up in 1994 and headed by Prof. Dr. h.c. Roland Berger. Two of the six members of this management committee were in the previous EC:
Zurich-based Dr. Martin C. Wittig replaces Hamburg-based Prof. Dr. Burkhard Schwenker as CEO, with 50-year-old António Bernardo from Lisbon as his deputy. New members are the Asia head Charles Edouard Bouée, restructuring expert Bernd Brunke and automotive expert Ralf Kalmbach. Tijo Collot d'Escury moves from the Supervisory Board to the EC.

The Partners also elected former CEO Burkhard Schwenker, Vincent Mercier and Stefan Schaible to the Supervisory Board, which also comprises Veit Schwinkendorf and Isao Endo. The Supervisory Board then chose Schwenker as Chairman, with Mercier as his deputy. Company founder and former Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Roland Berger, will become Honorary Chairman of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, the world's only top-five strategy consultancy of European origin.
